Steve Carter Tutoring Program

The LDOE's Steve Carter Tutoring Program supports eligible K-12 grade students with Literacy or Math tutoring. Tutors can work with students individually or in small groups of up to 4 students after school. Canopy Tutoring is an approved provider for the Steve Carter Tutoring Program.

Tutor Requirements:

One of the following:

  • Teaching Certificate, Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, Paraprofessional at a Louisiana Public School,

AND

  • Specific training required by LDOE
